Goals

  • Provide exceptional support and assistance to the Chamber and Fort Huachuca in all environmental and other actions or activities potentially impacting the viability or future of the Chamber/post members.
  • Provide high visibility opportunities for Chamber members to get their business message out to thousands of potential customers working on-post.
  • Market benefits of MAC to Chamber members.
  • Assist the Intelligence Center Command Groups and Staffs in keeping Fort Huachuca a low cost, desirable and effective location to train and house military personnel and their families.

     
Plan of Work
     
  • Ensure MAC goals are linked with Chamber goals.
  • Plan and host monthly MAC luncheons, on-post, to honor outstanding military, civilians and business sponsors.
  • Particular focus on the Chamber's Veterans' Day Luncheon in November
  • Particular recognition of Army birthday.
  • Continue to be lead sponsor of the Annual Fort Huachuca Awards banquet honoring the Fort Huachuca Soldier, NCO, Drill Sgt., Instructor, Marine, Airman, Air Force NCO and Civilian of the Year, held each January.
  • Coordinate the sponsorship efforts for the NETCOM/9th US Army Signal Command Soldier and NCO of the Year competition held in July.
  • Participate in semi-annual meetings with the Garrison Commander, discussing a pre-coordinated agenda.
  • Coordinate with the Garrison PAO.
  • Continue to be financially self-sufficient as a committee.
