Leadership Sierra Vista is a community leadership development program of the Greater Sierra Vista Area Chamber of Commerce. Its purpose is to:

• Identify community leaders of diverse backgrounds.
• Develop their potential and nurture their roles of leadership in the community.
• Expose up-and-coming leaders to the problems and opportunities that face the Sierra Vista area.
• Build a realistic understanding of leadership roles in today’s complex society.
• Open a dialogue between emerging and current community leaders.
• Familiarize up-and-coming leaders with some of the processes, programs, opportunities and challenges for individual involvement in the community.

• Recruit more business leaders to participate in identifying potential candidates for the program.
• Invite business leaders to develop and enhance program models to address current challenges and opportunities.
• Involve past graduates in designing, organizing, assisting and developing future monthly program events.
• Provide feedback to hosting organizations to ensure quality program delivery.
• Provide a comprehensive orientation program that not only encourages team building, but also creates an atmosphere of true public responsibility and personal growth.
